Same Sex Marriage

According to today's issue of news in Canada.com it is getting debated heatedly in the house of common for same sex marriage to be accepted

www.canada.com/vancouver

There have been demonstrations from churches of all faiths as they demand the house of common to not allow such a bill to be passed as it would demoralize all that they stand for... traditional marraige between one man and one woman.

What do you think? Should it be allowed to be passed? Does it take away the constitutional rights of gay men and women?

If the government is going to be in the business of handing out marriage licenses, then they cannot discriminate. What churches do is another matter entirely.
