21 Day Challenge
A very good friend of mine has been doing this 21 day challenge with her life and with her scrapbooking. She is an absolute genius!! Each day she is given a quote and she does a page up that deals with that quote. I have decided to do this as well although they are halfway through the challenge already I will just use quote 1 as my day 1. Hopefully I can figure out how to scan my journal page so it comes up on here but somehow I think unless my computer kid moves here to help me I will be stranded :) But I will begin it tomorrow to give myself today to gather my supplies and get it ready.

Dressing Bodies
Well today I had a first experience. I got to dress a woman who had passed away. The family had requested that I do it... apparently she had requested it before she died. I didn't realize I had left such a lasting impression on her. I was very honoured but I have to admit it was the most difficult thing I have ever done. Being the perfectionist that I am, it took me forever to get things just right. I kept thinking of how I would want my clothes on. I am sure the funeral home staff must have wondered who I was talking to as they could hear me rambling on but it made it less "freaky" if I kept on a conversation like she could actually answer back.
It's not an experience I want to repeat any time soon let me tell you but it has made me change a few things in my "to do" list of things that I want done when I die.

Easter Weekend
Well so far it has been a great weekend... 2 of our grandkids that we had not seen in about a year came down with mom on Thursday night. We were concerned that Dad who lives here and is seperated from mom would have a difficult time and try to do something stupid. Everyone was on guard but he (our son) did really well and act mature!! Go figure..
We had our Egg Hunt yesterday and the children loved it. The daughter and DIL's and I did the children's eggs outside while the men hid the adults inside.. I could hardly believe it... even hiding one another's eggs and baskets some of them took an hour to find it lol.. We watched The Chronicles of Narnia and I really enjoyed it although it really took almost 3 hours to watch it with having to put it on pause every little bit as a child needed something, another one threw up (no not from easter treats but from the flue), then another one threw up as she was going to the bathroom, then Nana had to go chnage twice as it seemed when the babies threw up I was holding them.
But all it in all it was a great dinner and family visit. We will do Easter at church tomorrow and concentrate on the real meaning of Easter and about the resurrection of Christ.

Catch up
Wow Where does the time fly!!! I can't beleive it has been this long since I was on here last. Either I must be very busy or lead a very boring life. I have to admit I have been busy getting ready for my 25th anniversary this September... fabric to buy, 13 dresses need to be made, bouquets and centerpieces to make, decisions decisions decisions. To boot have been working my tail off on my church calling and that is always a challenge. In the last month I have started a monthly luncheon group and a book club. I figured if I am going to complain that there is nothing to do I better do my share. So just got my first book in the mail and am looking forward to reading it. If anyone out there wants to join the fun let me know!!
